Home again. Home again. Chemo #4 complete and thus far uneventful. Asa still is tired and grumpy and a bit nauseous, but that's normal. We arrived home early afternoon and played and did chores. Some semblance of normal. Home health arrives early with an injection in morn, but otherwise, it's a done deal.
Please pray that Asa's counts stay up in the aftermath of this chemo. Asa needs to stay well for tumor removal. Counts have to be recovered before surgery. Pray other kids stay healthy in all our daily interactions. If you don't see us sometimes, this is why. Pray for docs as they plan and schedule tumor removal. Surgeon on vacation next week so we have no definitives until the following week. Normal clinic and weekly chemo on Thursday.
Thanks for our own bed and helpers, dinners in the freezer. Grateful for hubby doing honey-do's, which included dragging us home in nasty traffic. Thanks for words of encouragement and good nurses, painless docs, food provision in spite of the hospital nuttiness.
