We escaped. Early, but finally. They let us go home and sleep in our beds after evening chemo. We took them up on the offer even though it took a while, mainly because pharmacy was lost in space again.
Thank you for praying. This next to last chemo went uneventfully and we had such an odd, quiet visit to the bone marrow transplant unit since there was no room in oncology. Please pray that Asa stays well the next few weeks as his counts are expected to drop. No breathing on us. No germies! I'm starting to feel OCD with all the hand washing.
Thanks today for our early escape so we can have a calm weekend. We continue to be in awe of God's provision through this long trial. Today we saw the total $ bill this far before insurance settled. $890K! The tiny percentage that we owe has been miraculously covered through individuals and Heart of Mustang. An interesting ride to be on, just sitting back watching God work. Thanks for kids holding down fort, visits from friends, firetrucks and haircuts.
