If you did not see the previous post, our family plans to participate in the Magnolia Relay for Life, a gathering of locals to enhance cancer awareness and offer hope and healing sponsored by the American Cancer Society. We would love for you to join us for that evening. See previous post for details and the web links listed there. Pray that this is a good opportunity to interact with the community the real hope we have in Christ, even in cancer.
We return to clinic Thursday now for check up and minor chemo. Inpatient chemo slated for Monday last we heard. Things change daily. I think we might get used to that eventually. Please continue to pray that the tumor shrink from portal vein and that the dormant virus stay very dormant. They will keep tabs on it. Pray that Asa's electrolytes correct so that we can get off these meds.
Thanks today that we were home to resolve all the issues, not in a dark hospital room. Thankful that Asa is improving. His pics today include his eating spaghetti (yay for solid food) and his attempt at personifying Aragorn with a ruler. Never too young to make a weapon out of a found object! Boys! Thanks for great food, kids who can cook, a beautiful yard and porch with couch to enjoy today. Thankful that somehow my outside dog got well while I was gone and the flowers bloomed and ivy grew in spite of the hard winter. And in all this, Asa was dying to crawl down the driveway, chase a ball with his brother.
