Success only with pretzels today. Didn't eat, but mouthed. Sometimes putting in the mouth has to be celebrated. Taking the entourage to clinic tomorrow for regular appointment and small weekly chemo and a special opportunity to record in the recording studio there in Tx Children's Oncology just for cancer patients and siblings. Whee!
Please pray as docs begin to nail down surgery details. Surgeon returns Monday, so some decisions beginning to be made then. Pray for Asa's counts this week, that they would stay reasonable and that they not drop into neutropenia. The move to stay germ free has not been too popular in such a large household. Hygiene they've handled decently, but the move to being bubble people for a while is a bit maddening for the non-introverts. Pray for parental sanity. Please continue to pray for Asa to have an appetite. Still playing with food well, stealing forks and coffee cups, but nothing noteworthy down the pie hole.
Thanks today for a new driver and minimal time at the dps office. We needed the driver. Desperately. Thanks to all of you who have rescued us since Feb in this regard. We are verrrrry grateful and appreciative. There are 4 drivers at home now. Hopefully we can cover it. Hope. Thanks for silly baby, porch naps, sold lawnmower. Anybody got a truck? Thanks for good conversations, reading, fuzzy silly kitty purring.
