Exciting day with Asa at hospital. Looked about like this all day. We have been waiting all day on a regular room. Things looking good except I accidentally popped his epidural line (size of a small fishing line hanging loose in his tangle of lines). They're coming to fix. Things are going well and docs are pleased.
Please continue to pray for Asa's recovery. We are pleased with progress, too. Pray that the bacterial issue stay at bay. Thus far we have no fever and a baby that is appropriately crabby for his situation. Pray that Asa's bowels start working so he can eat. He's not happy not being nursed. Pray that God would continue to direct our interactions and conversations.
Thanks today for the success of surgery. Surgeons and oncologists just all thrilled. Thanks for fun visitors, smiling faces and coffee and real food. Thanks for those who held down the fort, help with transportation.
