Home routine - June 1, 2014

Thanks this Sunday to God for his indescribable gift!  Silly playday with babe and family. Feels strange on Sunday to be home all day on germ lock down.  We are all anxious for those days to be over.  Asa ate some pancake today in the next round of somewhat failed food experimentation.  He tried.  We are off to clinic tomorrow for weigh in and blood counts.  Hopefully and prayerfully for a short visit, no waiting, reasonable traffic.

Please be in prayer that we avoid the NG tube route.  It's sort of a pain, but if Asa needs it, we will go there.  It's not uncommon with chemo kids.  Just feel like it's backtracking, but we have this tall, very skinny kid and most of ours aren't so scrawny. Pray that Asa's counts don't dip too hard this time.  We are in that stage where they really may be at their lowest.  Pray that we all stay well in our necessary errands, appointments, and work and no sneezing. Decisions should start being made this week regarding surgery.  Pray for our household as all this falls overlapping camp and grandparent outings and housing transition for grown kid, making our household staffing a bit weak.

Thanks today for family time and actually getting the household a bit caught up.  Grateful for siblings who play with Asa willingly.  Happy to have smoothies and porch time, even if the dog pesters us to throw the ball nonstop.  Thankful for generosity and for those of you who pray us through this season.  Keep at it.
