Just singing in the rain with Asa today. Sticking hands out as rain poured off of roof. Not much luck eating, lots of effort and success playing with food and wearing it, though. 😣🍪 On that note, the dogs love Cheerios and are very attentive to Asa and are game to try just about anything that hits the floor, making them well-tipped furry vacuum cleaners.
Please primarily pray that Asa eat and/or drink from a bottle or cup. He needs to put on weight before surgery. He needs to not be weird about putting things in his mouth or being fed. Today he seemed a bit better from chemo, a bit more himself. Please pray for the tumor removal as we approach surgery. Please pray that the surgery and recovery be uneventful. Pray for good nurses and docs and good interactions. Pray that things stay calm on the home front. Please pray especially that all here stay well. No germies, please. 😷🚫Good reports on our friend, Caroline, today. She is out if ICU and back on oncology unit, which means she's much improved. Thank you for praying! God is working in her little body.
Thanks today for an enjoyable rainy day, nice porch with few mosquitoes. Thanks for loved ones gone before and gone in service who gave us these moments of peace. Nice to think of you today. Thanks for you prayer warriors who pray when cancer is hard and tiring. Thanks to those who helped my kids learn to read even when I was in hospital.
