Uneventful chemo, good numbers, freedom! - May 23, 2014

Quiet day of toddler play and chemo #4 at the hospital.  Uneventful without barfing is all well and very good.  Cancer protein numbers are improved yet again.  Down to 235 from 399 a few weeks ago (remember initial numbers were over 51k).  Also, though it is a small victory comparatively, the hospital finally took Asa off droplet precautions leftover from adenovirus and we are now allowed to roam free.  Yay!  We should go home tomorrow.

Please pray for upcoming surgery to remove what's left of tumor.  If you have not read and seen details of the latest MRI results, see previous postings.  Asa has lived up to the meaning of his name. Pray for rest of chemo with no nausea or body aches.  Pray for docs as they plan date for surgery.

Thanks today for food provision and nice nurses who watch out for us and love Asa.  Thanks for no nausea and smiles and kisses, red cheeks and hair.  Thanks for Tony holding down fort.  Thanks to God for healing this little boy such that it is visually obvious to all that he's a walking miracle.  Thank you for praying!
