Home again. Home again. Yes, it's true. We escaped! Considering all we were waiting on was a shot, we were permitted to go home and get the shot via home health. Asa did well with chemo with almost no nausea, only a little crabby with one drug that tends to make him crabby. We now go back for clinic weekly and then we should take MRI pics in a few weeks. But for now, we are home. Asa will have lower counts these next few weeks, so please bear with us if we are a bit protective.
Thank you for praying us through chemo. Please pray that as the drugs work, that the tumor will shrink away from the portal vein. Pray that Asa's immune system doesn't drop too low and recovers quickly. Pray all our other kids stay well. Do not breathe on them please! 😃Pray for the doc team as they will begin to make surgical decisions after imaging. Please pray for our family as we continue to juggle getting meds down an uncooperative kid, as we go back and forth, in and out of hospital. It's tiring. Pray for our family and extended family as Asa's uncle Clancy is struggling with cancer as well.
Thanks today for home! Two nights felt like a dream! Thanks for visit with another sweet family at hospital. Pray for their Caroline as she also struggles.
