This wouldn't be such a fabulous set of pictures, except that it represents progress. Asa is showing some interest in eating real food, stealing it from others, tearing it to shreds to the delight if the dogs, but hey, it's progress. I think the simple fact that we are down to two meds makes him not so hostile to foreign objects approaching his pie hole. He doesn't want us to do it, but he's approaching it aggressively, especially if it involves thin mints cookies.
Continue to pray as we move forward. At home it's easy to forget Asa has liver cancer, but the reality is that his tumor needs to come off his portal vein. It needs to be removable. Please pray that chemo is effective. Pray for surgical team even now, that as they meet in a few weeks, that they might have great wisdom in Asa's case. Pray that God might continue to use Asa as a testimony to them. I know they are already amazed and baffled at Asa's case and all God has done.
Thanks today even though we didn't get to go to drivers license office. DPS, 'nuff said. Thanks for time shopping with boys, even if in prep for a funeral and trying to find dress shirts for the arm length of Inspector Gadget. It was at least fun. Thanks that they were even on sale. Thanks for rain and that everyone else goes home during the rain! Grateful for evening giggles and arm wrestling and little fingers in the casserole.
Prayers for weekend as we make several trips to sister in laws for funeral and to help and kids coming in for those events. Pray this be a time to encourage and time to understand and share our real Hope. Pray that Asa stay germ free with all those people.
