To clinic. To clinic. Nope. - June 26, 2014

Fun day with Asa.  I think this is the first Thursday since February that we have not been either in clinic or in hospital.  A strange and wonderfully normal feeling. We sat on porch and played and watched storm come in.  Just did normal stuff, dealt and thought about normal things.  Normal and calm is okay.

Please do continue in prayer on this home stretch for Asa. We do not have a day for port placement yet, though expect next week, followed by chemo.  No one is in a big rush.  Pray that this will be simple with no blips coming across the radar.  Thanks for praying for Asa low grade fever and Avi's cold.  Both  seem improved today.  Avi much better.  Asa a little runny nosed, but that's all.  He was very happy and pleasant today.  He just seems to feel so good with the tumor out.  Docs said that's often true, but now we are observing it.  The tumor burden is more than we realize.
Please pray for our kids the next few weeks as we dive back into hiding.  Neutropenia equals no fun.  It's short lived, but we hate that for them.  Cabin fever visits fast if it's been most of summer.

Thanks today for normal and that Asa is feeling better.  Grateful for lots of food consumed, too, and even nasty diapers as a result.  We will take that!  Thanks for beautiful storm today and quiet to enjoy, scrounging for lunch with no electricity and playing and doing money math by flashlight.
