Home again. Home again. Jiggety jig. - June 21, 2014

Home again. Home again and thrilled to be here.  All Asa's bloodwork was great this morning so we sprung the joint by noon and came home and unpacked.  A great feeling to look at our hospital bags and know that the next trips should be quick ones, Lord willing.  We will have a check up with the surgeon and then dates set for chemo rounds 5 and 6.

Please pray for good rest and relaxation on all our parts. Asa did well today with minimum pain meds and played hard at home. He ate my biscuit this morning, part of a chocolate frosty, and sampled all of dinner in a high chair.  Still just not getting the eating thing well, but he's not so turned off by food and has a taste for it now.  Pray that does not leave again with next chemo. Pray that this lower level of demands would allow us to regroup as a family and be ready for the fall.

Thanks today obviously that we are home in our own bed.  Thanks for big kids that held down fort.  Grateful for the littler kid who opted to not go with the Rapunzel look, stop sitting on her hair, and donate some of it.  Her idea.  I like the Rapunzel look but it was getting caught in wheel spokes.  :(
