Quiet, germ-free Sunday at home - May 25, 2014

Paparazzi pic.  Stop chasing me with the camera!  Quiet day at home, still feeling a bit puny from chemo.  Always seems to take a few days of grumpy for Asa to get back to himself.  Asa got his shot from home health this morn bright and early.   Yawn! 😲

Please pray that Asa really eat over these next few weeks before surgery.  He's maintaining weight only and could probably stand to put on a pound or so.  He just simply resists anything but nursing and won't let anyone feed him anything.  He will nibble finger foods sometimes, but mostly shows no interest.  As we wait for surgery decisions, please pray for wisdom for those docs.  Please pray that Asa stay healthy, as well as the rest of us.  The germ lock down is not popular in this house right now, but necessary.  Please pray for our friend, Caroline, as she is struggling with fluid retention in her T-cell protocol for leukemia. Her road of late has been so similar to Asa's and we ask that you pray for her strength and physical stamina.  She is 14.

Thanks today for girl time and naps, sweet visit with my sister in law, Mexican food for a change.  Thanks for lifetime friends and the joy of believers in Christ.  Grateful for color and geberas and porch sofas with cute hubby, all of which are a luxury, along with coffee.
