Sunday stuck at home chemo recovering - July 13, 2014

Sunday at home on lock- down with baby.  Home health nurse came bright and early to give Asa his follow-up, post-chemo shot.  Asa was up and at 'em and feeling well.  The only odd thing we see is that he is turning his supplementary bottle away.  He's still shoveling table food, breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between and strawberry pie, but no bottle.

Please be in prayer that Asa stay well and we stay well, that his counts not plummet too low.  We go in to clinic later this week for minor outpatient chemo. Things are fairly calm, but we are looking closer at the hearing issue, if it is a real concern or not.  Pray that we be wise and advocate where we need to and let things lie where we don't need to.  Our friend, Caroline, had a good week.  Pray her chemo is effective.  She's a brave, sweet child.  Continue to pray for our sanity as we wrap our mess up somewhat with start of school and also all the weeks in between where we are stuck here in quarantine.

Thanks today for strawberry pie and musical children.  Grateful for hair and eyelashes, praying for more of both soon.  Thanks for a nurse who does Sunday house calls before church.  And happy for family dinner with all the chicks at home.
