We have decided to participate in our local American Cancer Society Relay for Life this Friday evening in Magnolia. First, we would like to invite you to come out with us and members of Magnolia Bible Church to support local families in this community-wide event and offer them hope in their trial. The event is April 25 at Magnolia Junior High track area, 31138 Nichols Sawmill Rd, Magnolia. Show up at 6ish or even before, stay as long as you like. Opening ceremonies are at 7pm. Dinner is $2 if you want to eat there. Some of our family will be participating in the event. Asa may or may not depending upon his counts on Thursday. Secondly, we would encourage you to consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society. This event, along with being a community encouragement for families, is a fundraiser. It's not for Asa in particular, but it is a fundraiser to encourage research and help for families experiencing cancer. If each of us gave a little, a lot can be done toward a cure and better treatment. Donation info is on the first link. There are ways to make simple donations, honorary donations or donations in memory of someone, and a place to join our Magnolia Bible Church Peace in the Midst team.
