Waiting, waiting, waiting - April 19

Waiting with baited breath on our release scheduled for Monday. Moved off the iv pole mostly today and so nice to go where we wanted. Even took a tour around the unit with a mask on even though it was prob not protocol. Fam came today to visit. Today is Addison's 18th birthday. Happy happy! I was brought odd topping pizza and chocolate cake, though I missed out on the candles and presents.

Posted a description of the tumor issue today. Please pray that the tumor move off the portal vein. Pray that electrolytes balance. We are going home still on dosages for this and a ton of medical equipment. It will be nice to be in our own bed, but we still have to manage all of it. Tuesday we have to be back in clinic for a small chemo and doc appointment. And somewhere in all this Tony has an eye appt and now has to see the dentist to get tooth repaired. Never a dull moment. Pray as Abi and I spend Easter here. As unappetizing as that sounds, perhaps there will be good conversations that God brings forth.

Thanks today for good books and baths. Grateful for life mostly minus cords. Grateful that we are finally weaned off of ventilator drugs. Never again, please! Grateful for friends with good news, others to pray for. Grateful for nurses who willingly work Easter for others with family agendas. Grateful that God got all this mess long ago and has given us hope.
