Day 2 of second round of chemo - April 8, 2014

I know. It doesn't look like chemo day again. Asa has had minimal side effects thus far. Some nausea, feeling puny, but fairly mild. We shall see how next few days go. We had some good news today. Virus counts are back down to low 400's. Headed right way now. We got back the cancer protein marker counts and down from 7700 to 3170. That means we are headed in the right direction. Thank you for your prayers.

Next few days we lay low and recover. We should get antiviral on Thursday again. Please continue to pray for tumor to shrink properly and virus be gone completely. Pray that Asa go uneventfully through his immune system drop this next week. Tony is off at work some. Annalisa is here with periodic relief stepping in to help with our sanity. Great doc and nurse interaction this week. Pray that continues.

Thanks today for sweet visits, a chance to catch up on paperwork a bit and drink coffee. Thankful Asa has been pretty easy thus far compared to previous chemo. Thankful for some decent sleep. Thankful for God's provision and care covering us at tired and/or low moments. 

And yes, for you medical peeps, I'll get those tumor pics up soon. All parties are thrilled at the shrinkage. Now we are just killing off possibly "floaters" and making sure and praying tumor is well away from artery. And, of course, getting rid of that crazy, crazy virus.
