Asa is 10 months old today. He's wearing his ninja turtle cancer fighting hat today because round 2 or 2b begins in the morn.
Please pray for endurance the next few days. I anticipate Tuesday through Thursday may be the days Asa feels rough on this one. This is a systemic chemo aimed at liver tumor and any unknown cancerous floaters in his body. We do what I affectionately call the "barf drug" tomorrow and then the one that makes him feel pain on Tuesday. Pray that we get some sleep. Pray as we negotiate with docs this week, that we would have excellent and helpful nurses. Pray that Asa's tumor would respond positively to these drugs and move away from the artery so that tumor can be removed soon. Pray that the virus would stop lingering and be gone completely and will stay dormant clinically during this process.
Thanks today for encouraging visits from dear friends and real food. Yum! Thanks for Annalisa's help. Asa is sad when folks leave, except for the nurse who takes his blood pressure. He waves goodbye at her when she comes in the door.
