Somebody at the hospital asked Tony where he is from yesterday and he told them he resides at Texas Children's Hospital, but he used to live in Magnolia. You resort to humor at times because you wonder a lot why, why, why we are still sitting here. God must still be up to something.
This week we are still doing antiviral treatments because everything else rides on Asa's viral count being zero. They will send out blood for a new count tomorrow but I suspect we won't have results until Monday. Fever is much improved today, almost gone. Still struggling with lingering nausea. Please pray Asa will keep down his meds. There are a few that are only oral and he doesn't keep them down well even with a NG tube. Please pray that tumor continue to shrink and move away from artery. Pray that his electrolytes improve on their own. Continue to pray for good staff, esp as we approach the weekend. Prayers for sleep always desired.
Thanks today for good coffee, good friend. Thanks for help from home, help with kids tomorrow. Thanks for chocolate shakes!
