Adenovirus, Go Away! - April 1, 2014

Virus news today was improvement but not the zero we had hoped for. Count went from 800 last week to a negligible 319 this week. We will be doing viral treatments for another week now. So prayers are still that this nasty virus would go for good. In the meantime, docs continue to work to balance electrolytes to keep Asa's kidneys in good function during the viral treatments. Ultrasound today to check liver after chemo last week was good. Pray that virus go away in entirety so that we may resume systemic chemo in the near future. Pray that liver shrinks successfully off of necessary artery so that tumor can be removed. Introduced to a few more new docs today. Continue to pray as we learn to communicate well with new team, changing nurses. Pray as always for sleep and endurance.

Thanks today for visit from dear friend, sweet encouragement. Thanks that fever seems to be gradually improving a bit and Asa up and playing. Thanks for virus improvement in positive direction.
